How to port my number to Phone2?
Porting your number into Phone2 is simple and seamless. Depending on whether you’re an existing user or a new user, here’s how it works:
Existing Users
If you already have a Phone2 account:
- Log in to your Phone2 account (on the desktop).
- Go to Settings → Phone numbers.
- Click Port in existing phone number.
Or if logged in, go directly here: app.phone2.io/settings/phones/port
From there, click Continue to Porting and complete the required fields.
New Users
If you’re new to Phone2:
- Sign up by choosing any placeholder number here: checkout.phone2.io
- After logging in, visit the port-in form: app.phone2.io/settings/phones/port
- Click Continue to Porting and fill out the form.
- Within 1–3 business days, your placeholder number will be replaced with your ported number — with no downtime.
Important Notes
- Do not cancel your current service until the port is complete. Your number must remain active to transfer.
- In most cases, submitting the Phone2 port-in form is sufficient. However, some carriers require additional verification.
