# How can I see the delivery status of my messages?


> **Note:** Because Phone2 is a telephone, it cannot give an indicator for when another has read your sent messages.

When sending an SMS, Phone2 can update you on the status of the delivery by using checks:

- **✔️**: Message was sent from your device to the Phone2 servers (on the way).
- **✔️✔️**: Message delivered to the receiver's network (e.g., T-Mobile, Verizon, Boost, etc.).
- **✅✅**: Message has been delivered to the user's handset (i.e., their mobile phone).

> **Tip:** Two green checks ( **✅✅**) mean that the message has arrived on the receiving person's device.
